See how Auckland seamlessly weaves together its cosmopolitan ways with traditional Polynesian influences -- a fascinating juxtaposition of traditions of yesteryear and the contemporary South Pacific.
Travel through the central business district to the Auckland Domain -- 200 acres of parkland in the heart of the city with ponds, statuary, glasshouses and a great variety of trees.
Set within this idyllic retreat is the Auckland Museum, housing an impressive collection of Maori and Pacific Island artifacts. You will have plenty of time to admire the collection, including the Scars of the Heart exhibit, which depicts New Zealand's involvement in the major wars of the 20th century.
Cross the Harbour Bridge -- an iconic symbol of the city -- connecting the central district to the North Shore. It offers breathtaking views of the harbor, making it a vital part of the city's transportation and a scenic attraction for visitors. View the thousands of pleasure boats that give Auckland its City of Sails nickname.
You'll visit the North Shore for some free time in the charming, relaxed bayside village of Devonport. Browse among the boutiques, shops, galleries, and cafés.
Back in Auckland Central, you'll take a waterfront drive past the sparkling sandy beaches of Okahu Bay and Mission Bay with photo opportunities and a chance to stretch your legs.
Finally, travel to historic Parnell Village to see the beautiful rose gardens and free time to browse. Your tour ends with a transfer to the airport in time for your flight.
Please note:
This tour is available only to guests whose cruise ends in Auckland, with international flights departing after 630pm. If you have already purchased an airport transfer with your cruise booking, a refund for the transfer will be processed on board the ship, as this excursion automatically includes a transfer. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
