Visitors to the Bay of Islands love to venture through the Hole in the Rock -- a top New Zealand landmark accessible only by boat or by air. Today, you will experience the Hole in the Rock up close and on foot, landing on the rock by helicopter for a 15-minute visit.
A short transfer in Waitangi brings you to the helipad in Paihia. A Bell helicopter takes you on a scenic flight over the Bay of Islands. Your pilot lands at the Hole in the Rock on a helipad built atop the island.
