A World Heritage listed site and the largest living thing on Earth, the Great Barrier Reef is rich with coral and teeming with marine life. Explore intricate coral gardens, see brightly-coloured tropical fish, molluscs and maybe even visiting reef sharks, dolphins and turtles. Board a high-speed catamaran, enjoy an informative presentation by a marine naturalist, the outer Great Barrier Reef is just 90 minutes away. Once you’re fitted with your equipment there’s easy access to the water from the back of the vessel. After lunch there’s more time to swim or snorkel. If you’re feeling adventurous you can try an introductory or certified scuba experience (additional cost).

Please Note:

Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, plenty of biodegradable sunscreen and bring bottled water. Make sure to bring swimmers and a towel. This tour is suitable for guests aged 6+ years.

This tour it is not recommended for those who do not wish to swim. Please note swimming is undertaken in a deep water environment from the back of a vessel, not off a sandy shore/Pontoon. Snorkel, mask, fins, and flotation devices are included. Stinger suits, lycra or wet suits are available for hire at an additional charge. Always snorkel with a buddy. All swimming/ snorkel activities undertaken at own risk

Certain medical conditions including asthma, lung and heart conditions will prevent guests in participating in snorkelling. Guests with the above conditions will be required to complete a medical survey and assesment with trained GBR staff on the day
