Created by Matt Wright, National Geographic's 'Outback Wrangler', this Darwin airboat ride leaves from Stokes Hill Wharf just a short walk from the pier in the Darwin.
A custom-built V8 airboat takes you on a 45-minute journey across Darwin Harbour to the city's scenic mangrove forest, where you will cruise along the shallow mudflats and take in the beautiful scenery.
Watch for the local birdlife and keep an eye on the waters below for sharks, crocodiles and stingrays. This area is prime habitat for many endemic species.
Your adrenaline will start pumping with the start of the 'airboat fast laps' -- spinning and gliding across the water at warp speed.
Please note: A short transfer is provided to the departure point. Bring a change of t-shirt as the fast laps can be a little muddy. Minimum age is 3 years. Tour does not operate on holidays.Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
