Enjoy a peaceful morning or afternoon cruising the picturesque natural wonder that is the Pambula River Estuary. You'll travel aboard an oversized oyster punt and learn about oyster farming in the area, including its history, modern techniques, and biology. Your tour encompasses the many aspects of oyster farming, from the catching of ''spat'' through the different methods used for growing market oysters. Sample the world renowned Pambula Lake Sydney rock oyster straight from the pristine waters and have a go at shucking your own if you wish.
Next, take a crash course in oyster husbandry and inspect the native Angasi species of oyster, which are also grown on the farm. You'll head downstream to the scenic, meandering Pambula River, stopping en route to see how oysters are caught.
Back on dry land, bid farewell to your captain and re-board the coach to head back to the pier.
