A panoramic drive along Kaldbak Fjord affords wonderful views of cascading waterfalls, as well as hillside pastures where lazy sheep wander about.
Head through the tunnel to Kolla Fjord and further north through the valley, stopping at the top of the columnar basalt landform of Streymoy Sill. Your hike starts here, 900 feet above sea level.
Head up the mountain towards the sill and, from the top, admire the splendid scenery of the rock formation. You can also see (on a clear day) the island of Vágar. Pause by a series of small lakes before heading back down the mountain.
After the hike, return to Tórshavn via the mountain road and stop at the viewpoint overlooking the capital.
