This amazing outback adventure to Kalbarri National Park showcases one of the most-visited National Parks in the state. It's a wonderful way to experience the beauty of Western Australia.
Kalbarri covers more than 718 square miles and is located on the lower reaches of the Murchison River. Over time, the river has carved the landscape — the park is home to sea cliffs, vast rolling sand plains, and ancient red sandstone gorges that penetrate some 50 miles from the hinterland all the way to the sea.
Admire the floral beauty here — more than 500 species of wildflowers bloom in the park from August to November.
Above all, discover the intriguing cultural history of the area. Enjoy lunch and free time in the quaint fishing port of Kalbarri.
Please note:
Wear comfortable walking shoes. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water.
