Exciting, exhilarating, memorable -- welcome to Expedition Experiences by Seabourn. Zodiac, kayaking or hiking activities enable you to experience the wonders of nature up close; in-depth cultural, ethnographic and archaeological discoveries connect you to the human and natural history of Seabourn's world. Each Expedition is expertly planned, professionally operated, and escorted by skilled expedition staff.
A true Kimberley epxerience awaits you. Leaving the ship by Zodiac, you will pass Naturalist Island with its beautiful sandy beach. Entering the mouth of the Hunter River, you will pass Indian Head and from there it's upriver, exploring the mudflats and mangroves. Keep an eye out for waders, egrets, white-talied sea eagles, Brahminy kites, ospreys and of course Crocodylus porosus -- the amazing, beautiful and scary saltwater crocodile. As you infiltrate the mangroves, the Ventures team will interpret the wonders of the mangrove swamps with their incredibly rich eco-system.
Please note: There is no shade on the boat. Temperatures and humidity will be high. Dress for warm weather with cooling fabrics that protect your skin from sunburn. Bring bottled water, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent and binoculars. Minimum age is 6 years. Tour operates weather permitting. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair.

Tablets, iPads, Go-Pro sticks, and drones are not allowed on the flights to ensure a full field of vision for pilots and guests alike. Wear sunglasses and preferably dark clothing as any bright colors will reflect. Guests weighing 250 lbs or more (fully clothed) must pay an additional surcharge over the published fare. No bags are allowed on the flight; (there are no storage areas where the helicopter takes off from so please leave these items on the ship). Employees can give a helping hand into and out of the helicopters but are not allowed to lift or carry a guest. Canes, crutches, walkers, etc., cannot be taken on the flight."
