Not only is Moreton Island one of the largest sand islands in the world, it is also home to the highest coastal sand dune in the world! Take a trip out to the sand dunes and experience the thrill of sand tobogganing down them.
Your tour begins as you board a 4WD off-road vehicle and make your way out to the middle of Moreton Island. Keep an eye out for the stunning multi-coloured sands of Moreton Island along the way.
On arrival climb up to the summit of one of the sand dunes and experience the excitement of sand tobogganing down. It’s a fast-paced thrill ride that’s not for the faint hearted!
Please Note:
Please ensure that you wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket, and bring along some sunscreen and bottled water. This tour is suitable for guests of all ages-- Sand Tobagganing is optional. Iced water will be available at the sand dunes.
This tour is weather dependant as the sand tobogganing cannot operate in wet weather conditions. In the event of wet weather, this tour will operate as a sightseeing tour and visit the Tangalooma Wrecks.
Not suitable for guests with mobility restrictions and is not suitable for pregnant women.
You will be required to sign a waiver prior to commencing the tour.
