On this tour you will enjoy a gentle cycle, great wine and stunning scenery. Leave Picton by van to the Vines Village -- the heart of the world-renowned Marlborough wine region. Enjoy your first "cellar door" experience here, tasting three wonderful examples of Marlborough varietals including Sauvignon Blanc.
Gear up with a bike, helmet, and start a leisurely, guided ride to two more of Marlborough's boutique wineries. You will stop along the way to learn about the vineyards, the Marlborough wine region, as well as some of the most popular varietals grown here. The biking is flat and easy and is suitable for all fitness levels – the biking part of this tour is a lovely way to connect each of the wineries.
At the second winery you will taste a full range of Marlborough’s wine varieties including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
From here you will travel along quiet country roads and cycle paths to the final winery. Here in a private garden and room, you will enjoy a wine tasting accompanied by a lunch of delicious local food.
This tour will visit any three of the following wineries based on availability: Whitehaven, Gibson Bridge, Forrest Estate, and Framingham.
Please note:In case of inclement weather, a van will transfer you between wineries. A van will follow behind during biking stages of this tour in case clients are unable or do not wish to continue biking. Minimum age is 18 years.
