On this tour, you’re in for a unique blend of adventure and relaxation as you zoom through tropical waters on a boat to Whitehaven Beach and then enjoy a day of relaxing on pristine sand.
To start today’s adventure, join your skipper and eco-host on a semi-rigid inflatable boat and ride through tropical waters to Whitehaven Island – one of the largest of the region's 74 islands. You’ll feel the ocean breeze in your hair and smell the salt water as you go along.
When you arrive at Whitehaven Beach, a variety of activities are at your fingertips. Feel free to lie on the beach and relax, take a swim in the crystal-clear waters, or join a guided walk to Hill Inlet lookout for picture-postcard views across to Pentecost Island.
Lunch will be served at the beach. The island is uninhabited and offers a chance to get back to nature and the sound of nature’s peaceful silence. Return to Airlie Beach in the early afternoon.
Please note:
Minimum age is 4 years. Tour does not operate on holidays. There are no amenities or shops on the island. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen and a hat. Bring local currency to purchase water, soft drinks and juice with lunch. Ride will be bumpy. Passengers must be able to board the vessel unassisted. No pre-existing serious medical conditions are allowed. Pregnant women or guests with hip, back or neck conditions are not allowed to participate.
