Sightseeing on two wheels is a fun way to explore the beautiful beaches, dramatic coastline and incredible scenery of Whitsunday Island. Meet your experienced tour guide who will take you through a step-by-step, comprehensive lesson on the operational and safety aspects of riding your personal Segway transporter, which intuitively responds to your body language. After donning your helmet, you're ready to roll.
Follow your guide along Bicentennial Boardwalk, built in 1988 to commemorate the arrival of the first fleet of British convict ships landing at Sydney in 1788. Just a little over two miles long, the boardwalk meanders between the lagoon in Airlie Beach and the parklands at Cannonvale Beach and offers beautiful views.
With the Coral Sea as your constant companion, you'll continue two-wheeling through Shingley Beach. Filled with shade trees, manicured lawns and picnic areas, it's one of the Whitsundays' most popular parks. You'll hop off and take photos of your eye-popping surroundings.
Back on your Segway, return along the Bicentennial Boardwalk.
