Continue to Eco HQ for an exclusive look at the work of the Whitsunday Turtle Rescue Centre. Conservation specialists provide insight into the rescue, treatment, and rehabilitation of injured and sick sea turtles, explaining the challenges they face and the care required before they can return to the ocean. When rehabilitation is underway, guests may have the opportunity to observe turtles while strict animal welfare standards are maintained.
While at Eco HQ, discover how plastics recovered from Whitsunday beaches and islands are given a second life.
