Discover the exceptional beauty of the Mingan Archipelago on a boat trip departing from Havre-Saint-Pierre.
A scenic cruise -- an experience in itself -- takes you to Petite Ile au Marteau. Then, a Parks Canada heritage presenter will accompany you on a walk to the lighthouse station. This easy-to-moderate walk allows you to discover the flora of the island and the lighthouse that has helped prevent shipwrecks since 1915. The lifestyle of the lighthouse keepers will be revealed as well as the secrets of the shoreline.
On your way to the lighthouse station, stop at the lookout and enjoy the panoramic view offered by the sea-shaped limestone cliffs of Grosse Ile au Marteau.
Please note: This island offers the opportunity for guests with mobility limitations to enjoy the heart of the Mingan Archipelago. Duration may vary slightly.
