Begin your motorcoach sightseeing drive through Manhattan with a view of Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the Theatre District, the Empire State Building and St. Patrick's Cathedral. You'll travel through New York neighborhoods such as trendy Greenwich Village, the Financial District and Fifth Avenue with its designer stores and boutiques. Catch glimpses of Central Park, which covers some 843 acres at the core of this bustling metropolis and provides the people of the city with a green oasis.
Along the way, you’ll visit the 9/11 Memorial to view the water features that sits within the original footprints of the twin towers. The names of those who lost their lives here are inscribed in bronze on parapets around the edges of each water feature. This is a serene and somber tribute indeed.
As you visit Battery Park, you'll see the Statue of Liberty in the distance.
Your tour will cap off with a drive through the pulsing streets of New York as you return to the pier.
Please note: This tour is suitable for guests using a wheelchair. The 9/11 Memorial involves 20 minutes of slow walking or standing for ambulatory guests but is fully accessible to wheelchairs via ramps. Battery Park involves 10 minutes of slow walking and is also fully accessible via ramps. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
