Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Saguenay National Park at a leisurely pace with a 60-minute scenic drive from the ship to the Saguenay National Park Interpretive Center.
Next, join your guide for an easy one-hour walk along the Meandres des Falaises trail and discover the Eternity River Delta. Learn about the creation and characteristics of Saguenay Fjord, whose magnificent topography was sculpted by glaciers about 10 million years ago. You will learn what makes a fjord and how this one was shaped, and why the waters of the Saguenay River are so dark and salty. Learn about the sand dunes (or are they marine terraces?), and which species can be regularly observed in the park.
Then, you will have free time on your own to shop in the gift boutique.
Please note: Transportation to the park is by school bus and is shared between all park activities.
