Depart the pier for a scenic 30-minute drive to "El Hoyo Soplador", known as the Blow Hole. This natural phenomenon is the islanders’ pride and joy. It is produced by a series of subterranean tunnels and crevices in the coral reefs and at high tide when a wave comes in through the tunnels, the compressed air comes rushing out the hole and natives exclaim, "hush, the hole’s blowing’’.
Leaving the Blow Hole behind, drive through the San Luis area to a traditional island neighborhood with beautiful white sandy beaches that contrast magnificently with the stunning blue Caribbean ocean. Enjoy some free time to enjoy the views and explore the area.
At "La Loma", or The Hill, visit the oldest Baptist Church in the Americas. It was built with pinewood, brought all the way from Alabama. The church dates back to 1846 and has become somewhat of a pilgrimage site for Baptists from around the world.
Next stop will be in the Commercial sector where you will have some free time for shopping and can enjoy a splendid folkloric dance and Reggae show.
Your final visit of the day will be at Morgan’s Cave. Venture down the famous labyrinth that opens onto an all but deserted beach. Local legend has it that pirates hid treasure within the cave.
After this wonderful exploration of San Andres, return to the pier.
Please note: Due to limited tourism infrastructure, local taxis are used for transportation. Every seat will be filled in order to make the transfer in a timely manner.
