Journey to the Antiguan rain forest, just 35 minutes away from the pier. You'll be briefed by trained, experienced guides on what to expect during this stunning eco-tour through the lush forest.
Set out from the Old Pump House with a walk over a suspension bridge, which spans the gorge, to the far bank. Once you're across the bridge, your zip-line journey, high above the trees and through the forest, begins. You'll criss-cross the gorge on zip-lines varying from 52 feet to 328 feet in length. The geography of the gorge dictates that you are above the treetops for large parts of the run, entering and exiting a corridor through the foliage at either end. In total, there are 13 zip-lines, one tree house, three aerial walkways and two suspension bridges, giving you a wonderful bird's-eye view of the flora and fauna in the rainforest.
The gorge is populated by interesting plants and fruits, with stands of large trees and prominent boulders. It offers a shaded area with interesting flora -- wild fruits, vines, mosses and lichens.
When you have completed the tour, collect a well-earned certificate of achievement.
