Go beyond the ordinary with a hike to La Soufrière Volcano. Located on the island of Saint Vincent, the volcano is an active and imposing natural wonder known for its frequent eruptions and dramatic impact on the surrounding region. Here you will have an unforgettable day experiencing the volcano up close.
Led by a professional mountain guide, you'll begin your hike at the Bains Jaunes (Yellow Baths) – a naturally warm mineral bath. Embark on a strenuous hike through tropical forests, then rocky mountainside, ending up at the summit of the volcano at 4,813 feet.
At the summit, discover a seemingly alien environment, where the strong smell of sulfur and the sound of deep rumbling will remind you that this volcano is indeed active.
After your hike, enjoy a well-earned lunch at a nearby picnic area before heading back to the pier.
Please Note: Wear comfortable walking shoes and a water-repellent jacket. Participants must be in good physical condition. Tour operates weather permitting. Minimum age is 12 years.
