Board the Seaworld Explorer semi-submarine and sit in air-conditioned comfort five feet below the surface of the water. View sea life through large windows and enjoy the dramatic effect of passing over a wall that abruptly drops several hundred feet. See tropical fish such as yellowtail snapper, sergeant majors, parrotfish and queen angelfish, as well as delicate colonies of coral. Watch through your large window as a diver feeds hungry fish by hand.
Once back on land, you'll cross the Queen Juliana Bridge for a view of Willemstad from 200 feet above the town -- a magnificent vista of the capital. The nearby famous Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge provides a pedestrian link between the Otrobanda and Punda districts.
Don't miss the Chobolobo Liqueur Factory -- on offer is a taste of the world-famous Curaçao liqueur.
In the Punda district of Willemstad, your guide will point out the major landmarks -- you've seen them on the postcards, and now they're right in front of you.
Guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so but must make their own way back to the ship.
Please note: Participants must be able to negotiate 10 steps to (dis)embark the semi-submarine. The vessel does not submerge. In adverse weather or sea conditions, alternative viewing sites may be substituted. Minimum age to sample alcoholic beverages is 21 years.
