At charming Pottery Village in Les Trois-Îlets, set off on a serene kayak journey through one of Martinique's most beautiful and preserved natural environments.
Paddle across the calm waters of the bay, enjoying views of Fort-de-France in the distance, as you make your way toward the tranquil Vatable River. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the local mangrove ecosystem and its vital role in coastal protection, biodiversity, and the island's natural balance. Glide deep into the heart of the mangroves to discover the different species and observe the flora and fauna that thrive here.
Your adventure continues up to the vicinity of the Sugar Cane Museum before you head back along the same path. Return to the Pottery Village for a refreshing local drink and shop for souvenirs here.
Notes:
Participants must be in good physical condition and able to swim. Guests who are pregnant or have a shoulder, back, or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Life jackets are provided and must be worn. Itinerary may be adjusted depending on weather and tidal conditions. Minimum age is 6 years. Maximum weight is 265 lbs. Bring insect repellent. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim/kayak at your own risk.
