A brief tour of Port of Spain includes a panoramic drive through the capital city and past its main highlights. Watch for the House of Parliament, the President's House and the Queen's Park Savannah.
Take a walk through the stunning Botanical Gardens.
You will arrive at the House of Angostura — the home of Trinidad's foremost rum producer. A guided tour of the distillery takes you through the various stages of the manufacturing processes of two of the Caribbean's finest brands of rum —
Fernandes and Old Oak. Of course, the world-famous Angostura Bitters is also manufactured here — the ingredients and the process are a closely guarded secret.
Take a sample of the varied blends and rum products made by the distillery and enjoy some free time to browse in the gift shop before you return to the ship.
