Bioluminescence Bay is considered to be a world wonder of nature. You'll take a 1-hour motorcoach ride to Fajardo to begin your kayak adventure. Paddle across the mangrove channels of "Las Cabezas de San Juan" natural reserve and pass the Fajardo lighthouse under the enchanting blanket of the night sky. Marvel at the glowing effect of the bioluminescent organisms in the water. Your guide will provide an informative narration of your surroundings as you kayak through this tranquil environment.
Notes:
Minimum age is 8 years. Maximum combined weight per kayak is 400 lbs (2 persons per kayak). Life jackets and refreshments will be provided. Pregnant women are not permitted on this excursion. As this excursion operates in the evening, visibility can be limited. Guests are discouraged from bringing non-waterproof cameras or any other items that they wish not to get wet. Remember to bring your swimsuit & towel. Transfer time may vary due to traffic. This most active excursion is suitable only for passengers in excellent physical condition. The transfer to the kayak put-in point is escorted but un-narrated. The professional guides meet you upon arrival in Fajardo.
