Head to the city of Le Precheur, a serene coastal village located at Martinique’s northern tip. If you’re looking for a truly unique experience, you will get it with this day of unspoiled natural beauty, black sand beaches, rain forest vibes and peaceful ambiance.
When you arrive, you’ll first encounter The Ceron House. It is not just an old sugar factory from the 17th century. This site also has an amazing garden and a great restaurant. This is a place where the culture, history, gastronomy, fauna, and flora of Martinique come together. Visit the garden and cross a cocoa field. A presentation about the harvesting process and the transformation of cocoa into chocolate is revealed, followed by a cocoa beans sampling.
A short drive will take you to a black sand beach, specific to the north Caribbean coast. Formed from volcanic activity, these beaches offer a unique and dramatic backdrop to the Caribbean’s azure waters, providing a captivating contrast and an unforgettable experience.
A snack will be served at the beach. Make sure to enjoy the water before the return to the ship.
Please Note: Wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes. No sandals. Wear a swimsuit underneath your clothes if you plan to swim at the black sand beach. Bring a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a change of clothes. You will have approximately 1 hour 15 minutes at the black sand beach. Swim at your own risk. Tour is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties or for wheelchair users. Tour does not operate on Mondays or Sundays.
