Connect with your fellow travelers and enjoy an immersive experience on this Small Group Tour that explores the culture and history of Agadir. Discover the city’s sights and sounds from an authentic perspective, gaining appreciation for its growth from only 12 houses in the 18th century to the bustling metropolis it is today. You’ll visit the Kasbah, a 775-foot-high fortress commanding its position over the Atlantic shoreline. One of the finest products produced in Agadir is argan oil, and the Women Cooperative of Tighanimine is an opportunity to watch local women create and develop this socioeconomical project. Enjoy tea and pastries and purchase products. Time to leave the association with a small gift bag in hand with some products made with real and good Argan oil. Enjoy authentic Moroccan lunch at the Kasbah Ecolodge before returning to the pier.
Please note: Guests are advised to wear comfortable, flat footwear. To protect guests from the sun, sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat are recommended. It is recommended that guests bring a bottle of water from the ship, as temperatures during the day can be high. The order of sites visited may vary from the original itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. Guests are advised not to take photos of military personnel without their consent. At the cooperative, there are three floors to manage to see the process of the extraction of the argan oil and to visit the cooperative.
