Travel from the direction of the Spanish city of Benidorm into the Sierra Aitana -- a range of mountains and isolated valleys in the Costa Blanca whose notable peaks include Mt Aitana, Penya Alta, Penya Catxa, El Mulero, and Alt del Carrascar.
Hike up Mt Aitana with a knowledgeable guide, enjoying sublime views and fresh air along the way. You will pause for an appetizer and a refreshment in the village of Finestrat.
Return to the ship via motorcoach following your mountain adventure.
Please note: Tour operates rain or shine but may be canceled by the operator in the event of extremely bad weather or unsuitable conditions. Minimum age is 14 years. Wear sturdy hiking shoes. Bring a backpack with a jacket and raincoat. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Bring bottled water. This tour is recommended for guests in good physical condition. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, rocks, inclines, gravel, and many steps. Please realistically assess your physical fitness and ability prior to booking. An energy bar is provided during the hike.
