In a Small Group of maximum 15 Guests, enjoy a different way to spend your day in Barcelona. Learn about “Cava”, in one of the most important cellars in San Sadurní d’Anoia and touring the modern Simon Coll chocolatier’s visitor center.
Vilarnau is an artisan modern winery with a tradition that dates from the XII century, when the family arrived to this area of the Penedés, started commercializing their cava in 1949 with the Vilarnau stamp and re- inaugurated their facilities in 2005, designed by the architect Luis González and by the designer Antonio Miró. Their products have been carefully produced and currently are successfully commercialized worldwide. Enjoy a fully guided and comprehensive visit of the beautiful cellars, walk through the vineyards, learn all about the stages of the Cava making process.
Then, enjoy tasting 3 different cavas, paired with KM0 products.
Sant Sadurní is also home to the Simón Coll chocolate factory; the history of this family business dates back to 1840 when Simón Mestres started a business dedicated to the artisanal manufacture of chocolate. Throughout six generations, this family business has changed its production methods, from artisanal to mechanized production, prioritizing product quality and innovation. Something worth noting is that Simon Coll is one of the few companies in the chocolate business that carries out the complete chocolate manufacturing process, from the selection and purchase of cocoa beans in producing countries, to carrying out the roasting, combination, molding and finish process to get the different shapes of chocolate that we will later find in stores. The visit consists of a historical journey through the world of chocolate and a one-of-a-kind immersive experience and a chance to taste Simon Coll's fine chocolates. At the end of your visit, you will return back to the ship.
