Drive to Peñiscola, a fortified peninsula town overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. You will visit the historic castle at the top of the hill, first built by the Knights Templar and later the residence of Pope Luna and the headquarters of the Catholic Church. Your guide will explain the history of the fortress and show you the torture room. You will also have some free time for shopping and strolling on your own before returning to the ship.
