Leaving Cannes, you will drive to St Raphael via the freeway. Red volcanic rocks make a striking contrast with the deep blue of the sea.
Arriving in St Raphael, you will have some free time to stroll along the bustling little streets and hunt for souvenirs, or perhaps purchase a beverage at a café on the waterfront by the old harbor (at your own expense).
The drive back to Cannes is quite a memorable experience in itself, as you will be taking the fabulously scenic road known as the Golden Corniche. The Esterel cliff road is one of the most beautiful parts of the French Riviera, running close to the sea in some areas and, in others, passing between villa gardens brimming with palms and orange trees. The 90-minute motor coach journey takes you through the lovely areas of Agay, Pointe du Cap Roux, Port-la Galère, and La Napoule before returning to Cannes.
