This remarkable hike is perfect for adventurers and nature enthusiasts, showcasing the rugged charm of Crete’s landscape. The gorge stretches approximately five miles and is framed by towering cliffs, lush vegetation, and intriguing rock formations. Breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys provide perfect photo opportunities.
Transfer to the Sfakian mountain village of Imbros. The trail leads through a variety of terrains, from shaded pine forests to open rocky paths. The moderately challenging trail is well-marked, making it accessible to both novice and experienced hikers.
Enjoy lunch at a traditional waterfront taverna afterward.
