Swim in the Adriatic, which Jacques Cousteau recognized as one of the cleanest seas in the world.
You'll explore Dubrovnik's spectacular coastline with a lovely boat ride that hugs the shoreline, taking in views of Dubrovnik's Old City, its iconic 12th-century wall, and Lokrum Island, where history claims Richard the Lionheart was cast ashore when he was shipwrecked in 1192.
At popular St Jacob's Beach, on the mainland, a comfortable sun chair and umbrella await you. Settle in for solid relaxation on this typically Adriatic pebble beach with time to swim in the crystal-clear waters.
Returning to the pier in Dubrovnik, you can tender back to the ship. Guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so but must make their own way back to the ship.
Please note: This tour is inclusive of a beach chair, umbrella (one per two passengers) and a beverage. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. The boat transfer to St Jacob's Beach takes approximately 45 minutes. The beach at Sveti Jakov is pebbly (not sandy). Wear shoes you are happy to get wet. Do not drink alcoholic beverages prior to swimming.
