El Hierro -- the smallest of the Canary Islands -- is known for its great variety of natural spaces, from a laurel forest to a volcanic desert.
Electric bikes are an ideal means of transportation to discover these spectacular landscapes, getting you quickly and comfortably to any corner of the island.
Climbing a mountain is easy with e-motor support. El Hierro has an abundance of bike routes and little-used roads, so you can actively enjoy nature with peace of mind with your knowledgeable and easy-going guide.
You will have some free time to purchase refreshments (at your own expense) and use the restrooms at Tamaduste.
Please note: Participants must be reasonably fit, able to ride a bike, and capable of cycling 20 miles on an e-bike. Elevation gain is approximately 1,000 feet. Terrain includes asphalt with some inclines. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Minimum height is 4'11" (150 cm). Maximum height is 6'6" (200 cm). Maximum weight is 253 lbs (115 kg). Bring a backpack to stow gear and any layers you shed. Wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes. Helmets are provided and must be worn.
