Enjoy a taste of the good life in Provence with a visit to the delightful village of Gassin. The scenic drive to the village provides an opportunity to take in the beautiful landscapes of mountains and vineyards notorious of the region. With an elevation of 600 feet, the old village stands proud, offering a picturesque panorama of the Gulf of St. Tropez. Comprising of a network of alleyways and winding streets of pastel-hued buildings you will fall in love with the Provencal character of the village. Leaving Gassin behind, the tour will continue to Domaine de la Croix, a small winery set in stunning grounds dating back to 1882. After a short walking tour of the estate, there is an opportunity to enter the cellars to learn about the wine-making process before sampling some of the estate’s popular wines. In true Provencal style, the wine tasting will be accompanied with some local spreads, bread, tapenades and terrine.
