Today, you will visit many of the main attractions of Kos, starting with Asklepion — an ancient medical center located on a magnificent, terraced hillside. Hippocrates was born on Kos and spent some time teaching and practicing medicine on the island.
Enjoy a glimpse of local life at some traditional villages. The first, Zia, is situated on Mount Dikeos and is the highest-elevation village on Kos. You will have time here to browse in the many souvenir shops or relax at one of the open-air cafés (at your own expense).
The next village is Antimachia, where you will visit a traditional house and a working windmill.
Continue to Kos and walk with your guide through the Old Town, finishing at the restaurant where you will enjoy a traditional Greek lunch .
