Board a speedboat at the tender pier and set out for the island of Mljet. It is one of the most beautiful and most densely-wooded in the Adriatic. The west side of the island is a National Park consisting of two lakes. Travel to a tiny island in the middle of the great lake and enter the 12th-century Benedictine monastery to bask in its cool serenity.
After some free time in Mljet village, take the boat over to Vrnik -- an island famous for its rock quarry. It has a museum, art gallery and tavern, as well as a number of small pebble beaches. You will have time for a swim here if you wish.
Enjoy a lunch of traditional fare before the trip back to Korcula.
Please note: Pregnant women or guests with back conditions are not allowed to participate. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing. Bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Minimum age is 12 years. .
