Enjoy a panoramic drive to the old Greek-style village of Sirince. Famed as the perfect synthesis of Turkish and Greek culture, and world-famous Turkish hospitality, from a distance, the village resembles a painting. Its winding cobblestone streets are lined with heritage-protected two-story homes. While Greek style on the outside, the houses' interiors are distinctly Turkish.
Sirince is set in a fertile valley and is renowned for the fresh produce and local olive oil used in the delicious dishes produced there. At the hillside Hotel Nisanyan, learn about the art and style of Turkish cuisine. Cook, chat, and absorb the atmosphere of this fun and informative kitchen workshop. The beautiful hotel is run by a well-known family with a wealth of knowledge of Turkish cuisine. A pretty herb garden lies at the heart of their business. Prepare and cook your lunch from scratch and later enjoy the dishes you have made, along with a glass of Turkish wine.
Return to Kusadasi for a carpet presentation before returning to the pier.
Please note: Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Tour requires walking approximately 750 yards. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, cobblestones, inclines, and several steps. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
