From the pier, drive along Almería’s beachfront on the way to Cabo de Gata Nature Park. Once inside the park, you will enjoy a great panoramic drive through this natural reserve. Take advantage of a quick stop at the Visitor Center to learn of the various ecosystems formed by the Sierra de Gata, dunes, steppes and the Marine Reserve. From there, your coach will proceed to Nijar village, featuring picturesque whitewashed farmhouses. Nijar is also famous for its ceramic handicrafts, earthenware and carpets. After an orientation walk with your guide, enjoy some free time taking in the local atmosphere, shops and cafés before returning to the ship.
