Step back in time and walk through history on your crater trek. During the drive to one of the most beautiful mountains of the island, you'll start to discover the natural beauty of Gran Canaria. Your specialized trekking guide will lead you into the Caldera de Bandama, where you can either take a circular route around the crater or descend to the bottom, depending on weather conditions. Discover the unusual features of the area, such as the abandoned farmhouses and outlines of terraced fields and explore the unique flora and fauna.
Then, continue exploring the top of Bandama crater while you enjoy stunning panoramic views of the north and east coast.
The Bandama area is also renowned for its vineyards, so after finishing your hike, you'll visit a local winery with a wine museum inside where you will enjoy one glass of wine tasting before returning to the pier.
Please note: Minimum age is 12 years. Wear hiking shoes, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Bring a hat and jacket. It is highly recommended to bring water for the trek, or even snacks if necessary.
