From the pier, your motor coach heads along the Middle Corniche to the medieval village of Eze. Perched on a craggy peak above the Mediterranean, Eze is considered by many to be the most beautiful small village in the south of France.
Your walking tour along the cobblestone streets, open to pedestrian traffic only, briefly takes you back in time. Around every narrow corner is a sight worthy of a photograph.
Re-board your coach and drive into Nice by way of the Promenade des Anglais. This splendid palm-lined boulevard takes you past the legendary and imposing Negresco Hotel with its Rococo façade.
Disembark the coach for a stroll through Old Nice, where tall, narrow houses bedecked with bright flowers block out the glare of the sun and keep the streets cool. Your destination, the Cours Saleya, where the flower market operates, is abuzz with a profusion of colorful flora, fruits and vegetables and charming shops. Some free time is afforded here so you can meander about the market at your own pace, before re-boarding your coach for the transfer to the Nice Airport.
Please note: This tour is available to guests whose cruise ends in Monte Carlo, with flights departing from Nice Airport after 3pm. It is also available to guests whose cruise ends in Monte Carlo, who are bound for the Seabourn-contracted Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel; these guests can join this transfer tour for a $24 supplement and will be dropped off at the hotel after the tour. Please see the Destinations Manager on board the ship. The flower market is closed on Mondays; a visit to the bric-à-brac market will be substituted. Visiting Eze requires uphill walking on uneven ground. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
