A fascinating combination of exercising and admiring the volcanic coastline, while paddling along the beautiful small bays and sea caves with mesmerizing green-blue waters, and sandy beaches ideal for refreshing swimming.
Paddling will not be non-stop but there will be breaks for swimming, taking photos, having a snack and water.
The tour starts from FYRIPLAKA fine sand, shallow waters beach and the stunning colourful stripes of volcanic rocks, to TSIGRADO small bay and beach with clear waters.
Then to the amazing with no access otherwise almost white sandy beach of GERAKAS. There are small caves to be explored, hot waters, bubbles emerging from seabed due to geothermal activities; on top of Gerakas at Kalamos hill lies the inactive oldest volcano of Milos. Because of high temperatures in great depths fumaroles are created emitting visible gases to the surface with the smell of sulphur.
A memorable over and under seas experience. A traditional local snack will be served ashore.
NOTES: If weather conditions are harsh on the south side, the tour will deviate to the north side of the island with the following itinerary:
The tour starts at MANDRAKIA the picturesque fishermen’s harbour with the characteristic boathouses on the seafront. The group will pass by Sarakiniko with its white lunar like landscape and will stop at a SHIP WRECK !
for snorkelling a different underwater relic. A tasty traditional local snack will be served ashore.
