Liotrivi is a completely restored historical mansion that was once the family home of famous Greek poet Giannis Ritsos. It subsequently became a traditional olive oil production workshop and functioned in that capacity until 1967. Today, it is a fabulous agritourism facility that still produces olive oil, wine, bread and other local specialties, offering visitors the chance to experience rural Greek culture as it was more than 100 years ago.
Your visit starts with a stroll through the farm's very own olive groves before you step inside the mansion.
Next it's on to the olive oil producing facility, which houses fully-functional equipment from almost a century ago that is still used today. From the terrace, take in the incredible views of the surrounding countryside.
Enjoy a fabulous buffet snack of traditional Greek products, including stone-baked bread, feta cheese, olives, marmalades and of course locally produced wine straight from the mansion's own barrels.
