Ride along the fabulously scenic Sorrentine Peninsula to the enchanting city of Sorrento. You will disembark the coach and make good use of some free time available exploring the heart of the town. It is rich in typical local produce, interesting sites of cultural importance, and fashionable shops.
Enjoy a lunch of local specialties; then, from Sorrento, your coach will follow the renowned Amalfi coastal road. Take in the panoramic vistas including the view over Positano as you make your way to Amalfi village. You will hear about the history of this lovely town — one of the oldest maritime republics of Italy — and have some free time for shopping, strolling in the harbor area, or visiting the imposing local cathedral (at your own expense).
A motor launch ride brings you to another village on the Amalfi Coast. Reboard your coach here.
Time permitting, visit the craft center situated at the bottom of Mount Vesuvius to see a cameo-making demonstration.
