It is a 30-minute drive to Els Calderers de San Joan -- a manor in Mallorca's central valley. Here, on an estate surrounded by outbuildings for cattle breeding, farming activities and indigenous animals, it is easy to imagine the island two hundred years ago. Enjoy a taste of sobrasada, a local sausage made from pork.

Your next destination is the Macia Batle Cellars, located in the village of Santa Maria del Cami, in the heart of the traditional wine region of Mallorca. First, you will view the old vineyards with their indigenous varieties of Manto Negro, Callet and Prensal -- all wines of the Binissalem-Mallorca D.O. See how the wine is made, how it matures in French and Russian oak barrels, and the painstaking process that results in high-quality wines capable of satisfying the most demanding palate. The agreeable sun and the microclimate of Mallorca join the soft winds of the Mediterranean to guarantee a top-notch wine.

Taste and perhaps purchase these delightful products before returning to the ship.

Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Minimum age is 18 years. Tour does not operate on Sundays or holidays. Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience.
