Take the "little train on wheels" to Porto Cervo's coach parking area.
From there, a panoramic drive takes you to the Nuraghe La Prisgiona archeological site. The ancient megalithic buildings found here were likely built during the Nuragic age, 1900-730 BC. Today, they are an iconic attraction in Sardinia and represent the distinctive culture of the Nuragic civilization.
For a change of pace, you'll head to Tenute Mancini for a tasting of some typical Sardinian foods and three local wines. Sardinia's hot, dry climate produces flavorful varietals.
A stop in the beautiful village of San Pantaleo offers free time to shop, snap great photos, or explore.
Return to the pier in Porto Cervo.
Please note: Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Bring bottled water. Bring local currency, as most vendors do not accept US dollars or credit cards.
