Across the water from Portovenere is Palmaria Island, a national park in the Cinque Terre with walking trails weaving through olive groves and vineyards that stretches along the coast past dramatic cliffs.
Your adventure begins with a ferry ride to the island, where you’ll trek to the Umberto I Fortress, the Torre Scola, and along the incredible beach of Cala della Fornace. You’ll hike along the terraces of Liguria, through scrubland and forest, enjoying incredible views. Back at sea level, you may take a swim or kick back and relax. This tour includes a casual lunch before returning to the ship in Portovenere.
