Depart St Raphaël and drive to St Tropez, a fashionable port town, tourist mecca and the place to be seen by chic Parisians. See the mega yachts—the biggest, the prettiest, the best-kept—in the harbor that teems with activity. After a short, guided walking tour through town, you’ll have around an hour of free time to explore the harbor, walk up to the citadel for some great views, or splurge in the designer boutiques.
Re-board your coach and head to a nearby village with a unique charm. Port grimaud is a modern complex of luxury housing with a fully equipped marina, designed by the famous architect François Spoerry to look like an aging Mediterranean fishing village. It is very pleasant to stroll through this lively village, passing colorful houses roofed with Roman tiles and streets linked by canals, alleys, tiny squares and bridges. In the marina, solar-powered boats ply the waters. Use your free time to purchase lunch (at your own expense); then, it will be time to re-board your coach for the return to St Raphael.
