Here's a scenic drive from Portofino to enjoy olive oil tasting at Villa Esedra, overlooking the splendid Bay of Silence in Sestri Levante.
Villa Esedra takes its name from the semi-circular building at the base of its stairs. Glimpse the villa, hidden among the green vegetation; then, once you're in the middle of the park, it stands starkly in front of you in all its splendor.
Meet the owner of the villa and tour the farm. Deliciously fruity Celso olive oil is produced here.
In the house, visit the beautifully furnished rooms that evoke its ancient finery. Enjoy breathtaking sea views from the balustrade and stroll along the romantic paths of the English Wood and Italian Garden.
Enjoy a taste of local delicacies, including olive oil and wine, before returning to Portofino.
