Make the most of your panoramic drive to the wonderful fishing village of Cassis. On the way, watch for the scenic views and cliffs of the massif.
Cassis is a small town nestled at the base of a medieval castle and is widely regarded as one of the most romantic places on Earth.
Hop on the small shuttle train to reach the downtown core.
Your guide leads you on a walking tour of the village. See the charming fishing port and wander through the narrow streets filled with the aromas of Provencal herbs and the salty scent of the sea.
Enjoy some free time to stroll, shop in the boutiques or relax at one of many waterfront cafés (at your own expense).
Weather permitting, you'll stop for photos at Cap Canaille -- Europe's highest sea cliff -- which looms just behind the crescent bay at 1,352 feet tall.
Please note: Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. There may be a 15- to 20-minute wait for the shuttle train at peak times. The shuttle train ride is for transportation purposes only, it is not guided and there is no commentary on board. The shuttle train does not operate between October 1st and April 30th and the tour transportation will be able to park closer to the City Center (a 10-minute walk). Bring local currency, as some vendors do not accept credit cards or US dollars. Most shops are closed during the low season.
