From the pier in Zadar, you will drive 75 minutes through Croatia’s hinterland to Krka National Park. The park is located in Sibnik-Knin County, along the Krka River.
Upon arrival, head for the last set of falls before the river meets the sea. Here, the Skradinski Buk Falls form a spectacular multi-level cascade over travertine cliffs. The whole area is rich with vegetation, birdlife and fish. Due to Croatia’s very strong environmental preservation laws, this extraordinary natural asset remains in its original pristine state.
After a guided walking tour you will have some free time to explore on your own before you board a National Park riverboat for a short scenic cruise to the village of Skradin. A delicious Croatian lunch will be served here before you drive back to the pier in Zadar.
Please note: Tour requires walking over uneven surfaces, and varying slopes. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
