Join this expedition to the top of Skopos Hill, where the best views on Zakynthos await.
Follow your local guide up a mountain path on a five-mile (8 km) hike through pristine landscapes to the summit. Take in views of Zakynthos Town and the Bay of Laganas.
Head back downhill to the shores of Kalamaki Beach and enjoy a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters. A nice walk along the beach is also an option. This National Marine Park is home to giant loggerhead sea turtles, who nest here and lay their eggs. Learn about the lives of these amazing creatures before you return to the ship.
Please note: Wear aqua shoes. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Participants must be able to walk five miles over mountainous terrain on an ascent and descent. Please realistically assess your physical fitness and ability prior to booking, as the walk is uphill, over unpaved, rough walking tracks with many steps. Guests who are pregnant or have a heart or respiratory condition or other medical restrictions are not allowed to participate. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations.
